Using my own name as the domain might seem conceited to some, but I go for simplicity at every opportunity – and you can’t beat “jonosmith.com” for simplicity…

Anyway, the weird this is, that of all the questions I’ve got from people (mainly on Facebook) about my “new” blog – the most prevalent one has been about the photo on my page header. Apparently it looks as if I’ve photo-shopped a picture of the back of my head onto a swampy landscape… I guess it kind of does.

Truth is, it’s a photo taken by my wife, Renee, from the back seat of a ‘mokoro’ dug-out canoe in the middle of the Okavango Delta in Botswana. It was taken during our African Adventure back in August.

So there you go. Mystery solved. You can rest easy now.
