I chose to look at 3 of the most intriguing prayers of Jesus to find out how Jesus prayed, how that effects the way that we pray, and how Jesus’ prayers influence the way we should operate as a church.

Hey, hey! First time reader on the blog. Howzit going? Jokes, I am sure. Dude, two things
1. One listened to the messages. . . good to hear your voice, also really cool to see what God has done in you (and me). Good stuff, Favorite quote, "The Bible is pro-beer". I have a couple of meassages online at our church site. >Medwaychurch.org< I only have a few in there and they are not labeled all that well, so you have to fish around.
2. Right with you in the Christmas thing, I have done my own share of blogging, though not as well thought out about my struggles at Christmas time. Didn't know you had Christmas down under (kidding) I know up here, it is really easy to get really caught up in the stress and craziness associated with gifts and parties and whatever else, but I think it is really important for churches to not miss the opportunity to maximize the openness to the gospel that happens during this time of year. I think most people want to get it right at Christmas time, and are more open to what God can do in their lives.

I actually reflect on our time working together a lot, and particularly remember spending our time on break at your place in Ohio, kicking back with some Camp-denounced contraband… Good times!
It’s great to hear that your involved in ministry. I watched your talk on “What Are You Carrying” from ’07 – nice work mate! – though I spent the entire time coveting your beard… Awesome.
On the issue of Christmas – I’m siting here on the 26th still not convinced about the whole deal. BUT I did get to preach to roughly 500 people (many of whom are ‘once-a-year-church-goers’ about the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, so that’s very cool.
Keep in touch mate, and keep preachin’ the Gospel like crazy.
